This Privacy Policy explains how Triwings Infotech Private Limited (“Triwings”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the SweetSurvey survey platform, including our website and mobile applications (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
SweetSurvey is operated by Triwings Infotech Private Limited, a company incorporated in India. You can reach us regarding privacy matters through the contact details in the “Contact us” section below or at triwings.in.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and organization or team details you provide when you register.
- Survey content: surveys you create, questions, templates, and the responses collected from participants.
- Response data: answers submitted to surveys, and where applicable respondent identifiers you choose to collect.
- Billing information: subscription plan, transaction identifiers, and payment status. Card and payment credentials are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay) and are not stored on our servers.
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, device and app version, and diagnostic information used to operate and secure the Service.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including survey authoring, response collection, and analytics.
- To authenticate you, manage sessions, and secure your account, including token issuance and refresh.
- To process subscriptions, payments, renewals, and related billing communications.
- To send transactional messages such as survey invitations, response notifications, and account or support updates.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers: hosting, payment processing (Razorpay), email delivery, and analytics providers acting on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Within your team: survey data and analytics are visible to members of your organization according to their assigned role (owner, admin, or member).
- Legal reasons: where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Triwings, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.
6. Data security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, secure token storage, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information directly in your profile, or contact us to exercise these rights. You may also request deletion of your account at any time.
8. Your rights under the GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with comparable law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data, which you can exercise at any time:
- Right of access: obtain confirmation of whether we process your data and a copy of it.
- Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data, much of which you can update in your profile.
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): request deletion of your account and personal data. You can delete your account yourself from Profile → Delete Account in the web app or mobile app.
- Right to restriction and objection: restrict or object to certain processing of your data.
- Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, including survey and response exports where available.
- Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
- Right to lodge a complaint: with your local supervisory / data protection authority.
Legal bases for processing. We process personal data where necessary to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Service), and on the basis of your consent where required.
Controllers and processors. For account and platform data, Triwings acts as a data controller. For survey responses you collect from your respondents, you are the controller and Triwings acts as a processor handling that data on your behalf and under your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate consent to collect respondent data.
To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us using the details in the “Contact us” section. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. International data transfers
We are based in India and process data there. Where information is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy and applicable law, including appropriate safeguards for transfers out of the EEA or United Kingdom where required.
